Pickleball, Progress, and Project Innovation: A Look Inside Inherent’s Latest Work
At Inherent Commercial, each project is an opportunity to bring purpose-driven spaces to life. From adaptive reuse to modular housing and construction tech, we’re constantly evolving to meet the needs of our clients—and the communities they serve.
Here’s a closer look at what we’ve been building, flying, and fine-tuning.
Transforming a Former Supermarket into DINK 24/7
We’re proud to celebrate the completion of DINK 24/7, a one-of-a-kind, 24-hour pickleball facility in Fishers, Indiana. Built inside a transformed former Marsh Supermarket, this indoor sports complex includes:
-
20 indoor pickleball courts
-
Cutting-edge tech integration
-
No membership requirement—open play anytime
As the fastest-growing sport in the U.S., pickleball continues to attract players of all ages and skill levels. DINK 24/7 sets a new standard by pairing accessibility with high-performance amenities, giving the community a place to gather, compete, and connect.

Behind the Scenes: Construction Tech That Works Smarter
Innovation doesn’t just happen in the field—it starts with the tools we use behind the scenes. One of the ways we’re streamlining operations and improving client outcomes is through DroneDeploy, a platform that lets us capture and document progress throughout the entire construction process.
How We Use DroneDeploy:
-
Pre-Bid Site Mapping:
For tenant improvement projects, 360° interior captures and drone mapping give subcontractors and clients accurate visuals before a bid is ever submitted—especially helpful when in-person walkthroughs aren’t possible. -
Progress Walkthroughs:
Throughout construction, we create a visual timeline that syncs with our project management tools (like Procore), making it easy to reference what was installed, where, and when—even after finishes go up. -
Real-Time Communication:
From out-of-state owners to local engineers, DroneDeploy allows stakeholders to see inside the build without stepping on site. It’s a powerful tool for verifying execution, solving problems faster, and reducing rework. -
Site Mapping & 3D Modeling:
Drone-based flight grids give us a detailed look at topography, cut/fill ratios, and site elevation changes—all in 2D or 3D. This is especially valuable for tracking site development over time.
DroneDeploy is just one example of how we’re using technology to enhance quality, save time, and communicate clearly at every stage of construction.
